Sandy used Cranberry red glass. Cranberry glass is made from gold. Therefore, the more cranberry that is used the more expensive the glass product will be.
Cranberry Red and French Vanilla Glass are stacked with a little bit of Transparent blue hoping to encourage the glass to react to each other. It is then fired to create a flat plate.
The next step is to cut the plate apart and once again put it back together. The resulting sculpture is breathtaking from the front and the back.
