4.5" squae Sushi Dish. This plate uses a tecnique called fossil vitra. A live rose is coated with glass powders in different colors and laid on a tile. A piece of white glass is laid on top of it and it is fired. The rose burns away but the glass stays and makes art. This glass rose is then fit next to strips of glass laid on edge and fired to create a work of art to be slumped into a sushi form. This dish is not food safe.
