The beauty of the hydrangea shines through the painting in various shade of purple and pink. Hundreds of tiny flowers are implied and seem to melt right off of the paper. The painting is mounted in a 16" x 20" double mat ready for you to slide it into the frame of your choice.
“Hydrangea”was inspired by Jean Haines Online Watercolor School. Jean Haines is an international artist who shares her love for watercolor and art through her watercolor instruction. She shares her techniques for the painting and this picture is how she sees it. The techniques that Ms. Haines teaches encourage loose and exciting paintings. She has graciously asked that the proceeds from all paintings that mirror hers be donated to charity. She will be proud to know that The Jesuit Art Museum will benefit from her instruction.
Sandy Drexel is the artist who painted this painting with guidance from Jean Haines.
