Hawthorne Berries

Coco Chanel once said simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance.  Sometimes as an artist seeks to create the beauty of the world they can overdo it.  This painting of Hawthorne Berries does nothing more than show a twig of berries.  It is the simplicity of the subject and the resulting painting that creates an elegant painting.  The painting measures 15" x 6" and needs to be put into a mat and frame.  

This painting was inspired by Jean Haines during her Online Watercolor School. The idea and instruction is Jean's but the painting was done by Sandy.
