A lonely deer stands by the stream wondering if it is safe to seek a drink. This is called a frit painting. Bits and pieces of glass and powders are arranged to create a scene. It all starts with a vision of something beautiful and then exceeds your expectations. The birch trees and rocks were created from hand made glass. This painting has been fired 3 times but the pieces in it were also fired 2-4 times.
