This freeform vase was made with transparent glasses and highlighted with colorful opaque bits of glass. The colors were then diluted with layers of clear transparent glass. It was then draped over a cone and allowed to fall creating a vase like structure. This step requires that the kiln operator watch the slumping process and physically move it on to the next step. This can take up to 3 hours of time on the operators part, The base is a 2" triangle andmeasures up to 7" in high. It measures 5" - 10" in diameter at the top. It is watertight and will holdat least 3" of liquid.
