Winter Snowy Tree Glass Fused Nesting Plate

The Snowy Tree is a 5" x 5" plate that has a fully fused evergreen tree in the center.  The tree underwent its own fusing before it was applied to the plate.  The snow and sky were cut and fit together by hand.  The entire plate was then fired.  The edges were then hand sanded to a smooth edge and then fire polished.  Finally, the plate was slumped to form the nesting plate.  Four firings and lots of hand working on this piece.
