Artist Sandy Drexel transforms springtime blooms into glass art with this Easter Lily featured on a 9" x 9" robin’s egg blue glass plate. Crafted from a living lily, the flower was dusted with powdered glass and fused beneath a sheet of irid glass, creating a stunning embedded floral effect. The plate is signed by the artist and then carefully slumped into a sushi mold, causing the edges to gently rise. Due to the metallic coating at the plate’s center, it is intended for decorative use only and is not safe for food service.
