This exquisite 11.5" x 6" glass tray, created by renowned artist Sandy Drexel, showcases the mesmerizing potential of glass when given the freedom to flow. Meticulously selected stringers in complementary and neighboring hues are individually fired with the intention of melting together organically. Once placed on a precisely measured plate of glass matching the size and shape of the slumping mold, the pieces are fused into one smooth surface. A final kiln firing shapes the glass into the desired slumping mold form.
