In this lesson we will advance from making a stickman drawing by tracing a magazine photo to posing a figure to make our sculpture. Use your sketchbook to do your planning. That way you will always have a reminder of how you created your sculpture. Thanks to our model, Grover monster, who we can move him around and draw the stickman a pose that will eventually be our sculpture. This is key to a successful sculpture. You need a firm enough base for the sculpture to stand (sit) on a tabletop.
We finish up the lesson with a reminder that we can draw simple shapes. I chose an ink pen and talked about how I would draw it and shade it.
