Sometimes you have one thing in mind and start letting the colors do there magic. You come back to it a couple of hours later and you no longer see what you started painting but what has appeared is absolutely stunning. Couple that with watching the news reports on the California wild fires and you find that you have actually created a surreal painting of the one thing that you would not think would be beautiful.
This painting is painted on 300# watercolor paper and comes mounted in a 23" x 27" black wood frame with a double mat of cream and maroon.
